Does Australia allow parallel imports?
Yes. Australia permits the parallel importation of genuine, legitimately-sourced goods. Reforms to the Trade Marks Act in 2018 specifically protect parallel importers of authentic branded product — if it’s the real thing and lawfully bought, it can be imported. Everything we source is genuine product through legitimate US supply channels.
I’ve been told a brand has exclusive distribution here — can I still import it?
Yes. An exclusive distribution agreement is a contract between the brand and its appointed distributor — it binds those two parties, not you or us. It doesn’t remove your right to import genuine goods. The exclusivity is their commercial arrangement; lawfully importing authentic product sits outside it.
Are the products genuine? Is this the “grey market”?
100% genuine — the exact product sold in the US. We buy through the correct US distribution networks: the same legitimate wholesale channels that supply American retailers — not backdoor, clearance or counterfeit stock. “Grey market” simply refers to genuine goods imported outside a brand’s official local distributor, which is entirely lawful in Australia. Nothing we handle is ever a fake or a knock-off.
Who handles customs, duty and compliance?
We do. Customs documentation, duty, excise and clearance are all managed for you and included in your unit price. Goods are imported through proper channels, fully declared, and brought in to meet Australian requirements.
Do I need a liquor licence?
To stock alcohol, yes — your current liquor licence, which we confirm when we set up your trade account. Non-alcoholic lines (snacks, cosmetics) don’t require one.
What if the product I want isn’t listed?
